Coffee Cup Mondays: Nov. 25, 2013

Coffee Cup Mondays w/ Lysa Davis

Here we are again, another Monday Morning! I hope you all had as great a weekend as we did.  Sometimes it’s all about just RELAXING and doing nothing!  Don’t get many weekends like that these days.  Since our move to the new place, my Naldo (that’s my husband) and I drive our daughter in to school in the morning and we bring our coffee with us. It’s a nice moment we get to spend together enjoying the ride, the coffee, and each other before we say our farewell and ado’s to one another for the day.  Never fails after we drop her off, we look at each other and one of us will make a remark as to where the time has gone, or how big she’s gotten (she’ll be a “teenager” next year). It’s a great moment and I am learning to enjoy them as they happen, all except I just couldn’t stop thinking about buying new travel mugs and not being able to wait to get back home to Google some new ones (us Bloggers, gosh- when will we ever be able to “unplug” our brains lol).  But basically, that’s how this weekend was.  We enjoyed every moment as it happened and we were soooo much more relaxed and stress free. Wish we all could do that ALL of the time.

Anyway I DID however (last Friday morning), delve into my quest for a “cool” pantry! You all know my wine cellar dreams and I will update you on ‘my little bar that could’ in a future post (check out my earlier Blog post on ‘Wine Cellar Dreams’) but now I’m on a quest for pantry dreams! I’d love a pantry that if it had a glass see thru door front, it wouldn’t bother me because it was so nicely done inside. And no I do NOT have a glass door front, thank goodness.  But in other words, I want to open my pantry and be able to say,  “Oooooo, this is nice!”  This pantry would be a complete DREAM but unfortunately I don’t have one quite THAT size:

Mine is more the size of these (mine is just a little bigger in depth):

Okay, I guess mine is actually a lot deeper because I can actually walk into mine and I am standing in my pantry taking this picture and I have room on either side of me to add shelves to the walls (and it’s quite wide), here let me show you mine:

I love “baskets” and plan on adding a couple more. I also like to use wine holders for different vinegars and olives oils- I need to go shopping. So I am thinking of adding shelves like the ones below and even an over the door rack:

I will keep you updated on my new organizing adventure! Have a great week, stay warm and out of all the snow that seems to be headed our way.  Enjoy your families! Until next time….
