Hi Guys, I’ve been so busy browsing all my Word Press Blogger friends Blogs yesterday and this morning that I didn’t get to post yesterday. My favorite “Vittle Monster” has kept me salivating with Madarin Combo Clay Pots to Crispy Duck Leg Cassoulet and thanks Vicente for keeping us amused as well! 🙂 “London Eats” has Giant Ginger Cookies on my mind (mental note to pick up ginger) and “Rantings of an Amateur Chef” has me craving Crispy Reuben Roll Ups and inspiring me to experiment more with my own already creative egg roll recipes. That’s what’s so fun about cooking, the ideas never end and there’s always something different to try. Thank you all for keeping me busy, oh and “Citizens of Fashion” please keep the Saint Laurent Small Sac de Jour away from us ladies because (besides our husbands killing us) at $2,550, it’s NO small sac! LOL!
So after reading a bit, I noticed my daughter was sleeping way too long this morning and when I went to wake her, she had a fever of 102.3 and off I was to get her meds, make her tea and plan on making some soup with the wonderful healing powers of turmeric in it. While she’s out of commission and my Naldo is commissioned to the tube watching sports, I found myself puttering around the house. Now as if I didn’t have ENOUGH projects- I find yet ANOTHER! The top of my kitchen cabinets in our new place is driving me absolutely bonkers! See why……
We buy our meat from Venda Ravioli an Italian Meat Market in the Federal Hill section of Providence, RI and they have (besides the best meat) the most beautiful pottery! My VISION is to fill the top with it but since this project has just “hit” me, I am not organized in my brain yet to process it.
Here’s some inspiration that I like from 2 great websites, especially Thrifty Decor Chick….
I know right? LOVE it!!Check out the websites for inspiration and another great one is Betsy Burgan’s work at: Design Meets Comfort. I’m off to check out the rest of her website now. Have a great weekend everyone!
Until Next Time,
