Coffee Cup Mondays Brrrr…!

Hi Guys!

Welcome to another Coffee Cup Monday! I am NOT going to keep you today and have not prepared for my Blog at all because I had an eventful weekend with an uninvited guest. Don’t you hate that?! And most people that know me, KNOW not to come uninvited! I don’t like surprises of that kind at all. Thankful that my very dear Nice/Daughter came for a visit with her family after, to fix my heat that wasn’t working (it got really cold yesterday here in R.I. brrrr….) and bought me some “Stress Relief” in the form of VINOOooo! I was happy after that! Love my Bean! It was cold yesterday and cold to me today as well! I am not sure I am quite ready for it to be cold just yet! Very happy my heat is working now though, and it is ON! Is it too early for wine? Well considering I am getting this “Morning” Blog to you at 10pm, I would say NO!

So this morning I drank my TEA of course! I shared the tea set I get from Amazon last week with different varieties of teas. Today’s choice was Meyer Lemon, and it was VERY lemony! I added a piece of fresh ginger and a dash of both cinnamon and turmeric. I make a turmeric drink that I have every morning using the “Nutri-Bullet Rx” that was given to me by a dear friend named Kathleen. I mix fresh ginger, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, chia seeds, Chayanne pepper and honey with water in the large pitcher and blend on full cycle about a minute. I then strain it and put in small bottles or store it in a pitcher in the fridge and take a shot glass of it every morning on an empty stomach. It has so many benefits including: 1

  • Anti-inflammatory- Arthritis, digestion, diabetes.
  • Digestive health- Relieves bloating and indigestion.
  • Immune system- Antioxidants boost immune system, reduces risk of infection.
  • Pain relief- Analgesic properties that help muscle soreness and joint pain.
  • Heart Health- Lowers cholesterol, reduce blood pressure, reduce risk of heart disease/stroke
  • Skin health- Relieves dry skin and reduces dullness. Helps acne and skin inflammation.
  • Oxidative Stress- Reduces OS that can contribute to damage from Alzheimer’s/Parkinson’s
  • Prebiotic- Both are prebiotics that feed the microbiome.

Well guys, I am going to retire this evening by watching my YouTubers and drinking my wine, thinking about one of those little Portable Fireplace Heaters…it may or may not already be in my shopping cart online lol. I hope you have a great rest of your night, and I will see you Friday with some good stuff to share!
