SOUP is my FAVORITE food! If I was asked if I could only eat ONE thing for the rest of my life, my answer would be SOUP!! It’s so hearty and soothing! It comes in all different flavors and forms, and you can add just about anything to it. I would NEVER be bored! I didn’t recipe test soup today, but I needed something to eat while doing so. I always have a batch of some kind of soup in the freezer for a day like today, and I don’t even label it sometimes because all soup is good to me and I like the surprise when I open it. It was a good day to find Venus di Milo soup! Let’s get started testing……

Hi Guys! Hope you had a great week and are looking forward to this weekend in whatever you do. As you know my TEA obsession turns to Wine starting the weekend and I hope you enjoy your libations as well, whatever they are. Wine is my all time favorite but it has a lot of sugar so I don’t really drink it as much as I used to, I love it most with dinner and I switch to gin and seltzer for my cocktail on the weekend.
My “Pizza Friday” is once again taking a turn in another direction. I pulled up a few of my favorite menu items and I am going to revamp them today. Let’s take a look:
These are my homemade English muffins plain. I am going to add rosemary to them today and possibly some diced sundried tomatoes in half the batch. I will let you know how they came out.

I normally do a traditional fish and chip batter but this week my Naldo had some Sam Adams from our Neice Beanie and I used one to make a batter for some fish and it was delish! Just simply, AP Flour and beer! Add some salt and pepper to taste to the batter (stir well and let sit for bout 5-6 minutes), dry flour the fish first then dip in the batter, fry and rest on a rack to drain excess oil. Enjoy with some homemade tartar sauce, ketchup and vinegar with homemade fries.

While I was frying, I did some mozzarella sticks in a shallow pan. They are my daughters all time favorite so I had to do some to shut her down. Simply get some string cheese mozzarella sticks and roll them in plain flour, then in egg, then in Italian breadcrumbs or Panko (I did Panko because I had it on hand, I just added seasonings). Place on a tray and freeze them for about 15- 20 minutes then fry in a shallow pan, turning frequently. Drain on a rack to keep crispy and serve with a marinara sauce. Quick and easy snack!

I used to work at a bakery for 2 years and I took pride in my display and the work I did. Here is a photo of my cookie display:

While working there, I started to brainstorm on making homemade peanut butter cups and tried a few times. I still have not perfected it but it’s a work in progress. Once I get it the way I like it, I will add it to things offered to clients.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this Blog today as much as I enjoyed bringing it to you. Be sure to have a safe and fun weekend! Let me know your favorite libation in the comments section. I am always looking to try something new. Until Monday, have a great day!
