I am so sorry I missed you guys’ last Friday and this past Monday. I unfortunately had been sick most of that time, almost headed to the hospital but I’m okay now, thankfully. No Covid (had that waaay too many times) just run of the mill virus sick. Even soup couldn’t help, and if you know me- you know something is wrong if that can’t help. I had to just rest for days and eat something in which I had not been able to do and lost 7 pounds in 5 days, not good. I just want RAIN! It’s my cure all and I actually NEED it! It’s not delusional because my daughter is the same way. We actually “Hurt” physically when there is no rain. A ‘Rain Lover’ is called a Pluviophile, I learned that happily from my cousin Jimmy Lopes. It’s the most wonderful thing learning there is a “thing” that you ARE in certain likes or I would say LOVES of things. I can’t do without it and really should relocate to Seattle, it’s my favorite city anyway! Okay…I’m moving…. Seattleites, chime in! Thankfully I absolutely LOVE being home, even more so at my age. My daughter says it’s because I am a Crab in nature and love my shell (I was born in July, on a RAINY, MONDAY- my Favorite day of the week. How crazy is that? I even have soup in the freezer, pajamas on and a cozy throw waiting for me after I publish this post today. We are still in a rain deficit in New England, this weather is not right. We need the cold we have been having lately to kill these germs. I am ready for the frosty weather as well.

I finally felt better enough to work more on my “Tower” (my Etagere), I had to replace my twinkle lights as they blew out. They are another thing I need at all times besides rain. I leave them on 24/7 every day, all year long until they blowout. I like these LED ones a bit better (for now) because they are tiny and came with a remote that makes them bright or dim, blink or stay still (which I prefer) and they look so pretty wrapped around my Eifel Tower.

My PLAN for today is roast a bunch of garlic heads in the oven to make a garlic butter, make a batch of marinara and pizza sauce so I will have some on hand, make some pizza dough to freeze and a black olive bread to go with my soup now that I can eat some!
