new Segment: Road Trip Friday! |

Hi Everyone!

So sorry I have been missing for a few weeks, I can’t begin to tell you how bad this winter has been for sickness around here in RI. We as a family have been majorly sick 3 times so far. Norovirus has wreaked havoc on us. So glad to be feeling a bit better and strong enough to get back to my Blog. And thank you to some great friends that have stopped by our door to help us out getting stuff we needed done (Aimee, we love you and will be making you some good stuff soon).

I have decided to run a new segment taking you on a road trip to our favorite eating places in New England that we have been to and enjoy. I am starting this segment out with one of our favorite pizza places in Providence, RI.

It’s simply a RI original, around since 1953 with fresh made ingredients daily. They have great pizza, in a great location, with good prices and a simple selection. We love it and hope you will too. We always stop if we are in the area to eat or to “Take & bake” in which they make your items, and you take them home and bake it yourself. We love that option as well. Soooo, it’s Friday Afterall. We are not that well enough to venture out in this cold weather and snow is on the way Sunday night so we are hunkering down for yet another weekend IN! I actually like the feel of an impending snowstorm on the horizon! I am such a New Englander, ready to start the oven and make a bunch of stuff to ‘get us through.’ LOL

My plans are to make a pork roast and some mashed potatoes, bake some bread, make a big salad, and try to think of some kind of desert. I will be catching up on my Blog posts as well. I miss you all and hope you are getting through this winter in better health than we have been. Stay warm!
