Series: Road Trip Friday Episode 3- Shogun

Welcome to the weekend!

My husband and I met when I was 16 years old or so and should have got together and married a few years later but we went our separate ways and met other people and came back to each other when I was in my late 30’s. One of the first few nights together out, he took me to Shogun because he is personal friends with the owner and they are quite close. I told him I had never tried sushi and really did not want to because I was afraid of it lol. I just wasn’t into raw fish and didn’t want to get sick, naivety at its best. He told me I didn’t have to get it raw and there were cooked and veggie options, so I tried it, and it was divine! We also had sake, and it was delicious. We went back almost weekly, and I fell in love with Japanese food and Shogun and the family. We even considered having our wedding there, but it was going to be too small inside for our family member list. We haven’t been there in a bit but always like to go on a special occasion. Our Wedding Anniversary is coming soon so we may have to visit then.

This is what OUR menu of items would be when we go (prices listed are copied from the website at time of this edit. Subjected to change):
