Welcome to another week of Road Tripping, and welcome SPRING! This week we are going to B-Dubs! I can’t tell you how many times I have visited this location as I worked in the Warwick mall at JCPenney Salon. My daughter also worked in the mall, and we would meet each other at B-Dubs before we went home. We knew the whole staff and looked forward to seeing them a few times a week. The deals are great, the rewards program is great, and the food and drinks are great! You just can’t beat it. It’s a nice place to go when you are tired of shopping and/or need a lunch break. Buffalo Wild Wings, originally named Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, was founded in 1982 in Columbus, Ohio, by Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery, who were craving authentic Buffalo-style wings after moving from Buffalo, New York. Instead of making a trip back to Buffalo, they decided to open their own wing joint, named Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, near Ohio State University in Columbus. The company began franchising in 1992, by 1993 eight more locations were added. Over time, the name was shortened to Buffalo Wild Wings. In 2018, Arby’s parent company, Inspire Brands, acquired Buffalo Wild Wings which also owns Arby’s, Sonic Drive-In, Jimmy John’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Baskin-Robbins.

Sometimes you just have to make a stop on your way home from work or shopping. If you are at the Warwick Mall in RI, you have to stop at B-Dubs.
