Welcome to Road Trip Friday!

When we spent time in Providence, RI within the last 2 years, my daughter and I traveled through the capital city going back and forth to work during the week and we would stop off at CoCo’s in the Arcade for an after-work drink or for some soup at Little Shoppe of Soups (no longer there). One day we arrived and stopped at Livi’s. They were closing for the day but invited us right in! They were so sweet and accommodating and recommended things for us to get at the moment until we could come in another day and enjoy the fresh hot cooked menu. It was love at first try. I can’t wait to try them through GrubHub as we are no longer in the city as often.

Livi’s Providence is a passion of owner Ruba who cares deeply about her ingredients, customers, and community. Started in 2016 as Livi’s Pockets, Ruba has expanded to offer Livi’s Burritos. Named after their family dog, Livi’s means the world to Ruba and hopes everyone leaves her restaurants full and with a smile on their face.

The Arcade

The Westminster Arcade is a historic shopping center at 130 Westminster Street and 65 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence, Rhode Island erected in 1828. It is notable as the first enclosed shopping mall in the U.S. and has been lauded as a fine example of commercial Greek Revival architecture.

Owner/ Staff

The owner Ruba and staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining what everything is if it’s your first visit. You can shop for extra sides like olives, salads, fruits and drinks. They even have deserts that look delicious and cookies that are huge. All made fresh daily.

Perfect location in the first enclosed mall in America, the Arcade in downtown Providence, RI. Visit for lunch and sit inside at one of the bistro tables or outside in the summer in good weather.
