Welcome to another Road Trip Friday!
I chose Silver Spoon Bakery this week because it is my husband and my 24th Wedding Anniversary on Monday! Our daughter ordered a cake from them one year for us and our Anniversary and we were in love instantly! The cake is so moist and melts in your mouth. The frosting is not sweet like some other cakes where you are done with one bite. The cakes are a nice size and high in height, beautifully decorated, and they delivered! We were very impressed!
This place is not very heavily web based, you just have to GO there or order from them to get the full experience. They have so much going on, serving wine and drinks and they even have event rooms you can rent out for your next occasion. It’s such a great concept.
This will be a simple road trip this week as I am planning on spending the weekend celebrating being married to the best husband a girl could ask for. We are keeping it simple with a homemade special dinner, of course and cake! We’ll more than likely watch a Turner Classic Movie with a glass of wine and just enjoy reminiscing. Cakes
We can make any cupcake flavor into a 6″, 8″ 10″ cake. We also offer tiered cakes for all occasions! Our 6″ cakes feed about 6-8 people, 8″ will feed about 15-18 people, and our 10″ feeds about 25 people. Our cakes are baked and custom decorated for each individual order. Please allow minimum (5 days) notice for custom orders.
Cupcakes
3 ever changing flavors of gluten-free cupcakes available daily! Custom orders require a minimum of six per flavor, if the flavor is not one of our in-shop selections, we can make any flavor and color combination. Feel free to call our shop at (401)-384-0078 for a list of our daily flavors. Local deliveries available. We love a challenge! Lounges
A Parisian style experience awaits you in one of our three Lounges: The Parisian Cafe, The Parisian Tea Room and The Special Event Lounge. Relax, rejuvenate, and spoil yourself with a French appetizer paired with one of our many wines, or maybe a gourmet dessert accompanied by a coffee, espresso, latte, or cappucino. (Perhaps with a shot of your favorite Liquor!)
People watch out the window or take advantage of nice weather with our outdoor seating during the warmer months.

Who would expect a bakery to have rental rooms for special occasions, and wine and martinis? I LOVE the concept. You never know what the world has to offer, keep road tripping to find out.
