Hi Guys, welcome to another Coffee Cup Monday. I just wanted to share with you some happenings in RI for this good weather season. Most are free happenings so take advantage. It’s the weather for cooking out or eating out so enjoy some fresh air with friends and family.

Brown University Ladd Observatory

Brown University’s Ladd Observatory, located on one of the highest points in the city, offers free admission on Tuesday nights after sunset. Physics Department astronomers will be on hand to point out stars, constellations and planets through their powerful telescope.

210 Doyle Avenue, at the corner of Doyle and Hope. Park on Doyle Ave. as Observatory parking is very limited.

RISD Museum Providence

The RISD Museum features a stunning collection of art and exhibitions, ranging from the masters to contemporary creators. Admission is free for RISD Museum Members and youth 18 and under. The museum is also free Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10am- 5pm

Coast Guard House
