In the next 4 Mondays our theme is “Mid-Summer Nights” not as in the play but as in the actual ‘summer nights’ themselves. I love summer nights, fireflies, warm breezes and the sound of crickets. Summer really does bring back a lot of nostalgia and we only have about 10-12 weeks of it if we are fortunate, so I broke it up into fun things that invoke memories of summers past. Enjoy the journey~
“Summer Festivals”
Charlestown 40th Annual Seafood Festival Details:
- Location: Ninigret Park, Charlestown, RI
- Dates: August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2025
- Features: Seafood, arts and crafts, amusement rides, car show, live music, fireworks, and more
- Admission: Adults $13, children 10 and under are free
From hot air balloons to seafood, there is a festival for almost everything in the summer and fall, to our delight. There’s always some kind of fun to have.
Backyard Decor
If you can’t make it to a festival, have one in your backyard! That’s what summer is all about anyway, getting outside to enjoy your space if you have one. It’s as simple as good food, drinks and friends and a space to enjoy it in. Simply put a blanket on your grass, a bistro set on your patio or a low table and pillows on the lawn or in the middle of your living-room and with a scene from the beach on your TV screen and enjoy.
