Monday Morning Coffee/ tea Ginger Tea
Along with the Fall (and winter) season, there unfortunately comes sicknesses more often. I have been down with the Norovirus for over a week and missed you guys last week. It was awful and I am not looking forward to that part of the season. I always go to my ginger tea with turmeric, honey and cinnamon with a dash of black pepper to start my recovery process. Here’s a Ginger Bomb Recipe I can’t wait to try myself next….

Back to Wellness

I was watching one of my YouTubers that was also down sick and had to be hospitalized sadly and she said all she wanted to do when she got home was peel a pear (her favorite fruit) and she didn’t even have strength to do that and vowed that as soon as she was feeling better she would peel all the pears she could. It’s a simple thought but it was mine exactly! I could not wait to feel better just to prepare myself for the next round of sickness with the winter upon us.
Meaning, I wanted to cook and store extra soups in the freezer, cut up and freeze ginger etc. because when you are sick you can’t do it! If it’s done already, all you have to do is have someone in the house take things out of the freezer and it makes for an easier time when you are down.

Be sure to have all your creature comforts to make your down-time more bearable.

There’s nothing worse than being sick, but you can make it easier by preparing ahead.
Stay Hydrated!
The BEST thing you can do is STAY HYDRATED or GET hydrated! I had great and fast success with:

Liquid I.V. Hydration Electrolyte Drink, it worked WONDERS! I honestly don’t know what I would have done without it. You can get it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3VOxSCb
You can also drink Gator Lyte, it works really good as well. I drink a ton of water daily, thankfully but this virus really takes everything out of you. I constantly had electrolyte water next to my bed. My regular water (drink both for maximum hydration) was filtered and infused with citrus and cucumbers. You can also add a little salt and sugar to make a sort of homemade electrolyte which your body needs desperately if you don’t have electrolyte water.

Tis the Season for Ailments~
Unfortunately, we just can’t get around it- but we can take preventative measures! Eat well, stay hydrated, exercise and sanitize as often as possible.
