I REALLY need a designated office for sure and have had a few great spaces in other apartments we lived in, so I miss it so much. However, this little space is shaping up quite nicely! I had the printer on the left side, but my heater is there for the whole room, so I had to move it to the right. When it’s on the left, I lose the extra writing desk that’s in the photo above. I must have the little writing area, so the winner is the “After” photo (printer on the right). The best part is, I can always change it around at any time. I need a new anti-roll clear mat for under my chair as I am using my mat for under the sink when I wash dishes, but it’s next stop is to the garbage as my chairs roller wheels have damaged the cushioned rug. Aren’t they GREAT? They sell by the piece so it’s not very cheap. A better option would be 6 full length door mirrors, 3 next to each other and 3 above those. I can’t wait to get started!

I have so much more to do in this space. We have only been here about a year and a half and I am still figuring out what I’d like to do here. It really is a great apartment, there just isn’t any cabinet space and it was really all wide open, so I have to get creative. The ceiling on the first level is really high, over 15 feet so I can always go up the wall in decorating. I solved the no cabinet problem with stainless islands and single standing shelving units. I’ll do a video once I get everything the way I really want it. Thanks for taking the journey.

Now go make or order some pizza for tonight! I did “Pizza Friday” for so many years in our house. I make my own dough so I’d get up extra early and mix it up and let it rise, simmer the sauce all day, prep the meats and cut the veggies and the smell would smell like a pizza parlor in the house all day. I switched it up for a month or so but, I’m ready to get back to my “Pizza Fridays” again. Sound good? Then go make or get yourself one and enjoy your weekend.
